Job summary

Greenfield Healthcare Center in Greenfield, IN is seeking a dedicated RN or LPN wound/treatment nurse to join our caring team. You will perform treatments, dressings, and catheter care, following physician orders and center policies.

We value compassion, teamwork, and professional excellence. A current IN RN/LPN license is required; wound certification preferred; CPR required; ACLS preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current license as RN or LPN in Indiana.
• Wound Certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience, preferably in a facility.
• Prior treatment nursing care experience desirable.
• Prior supervisory experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments, dressing changes, ointments, sprays, and lotions for residents per policy and orders.
• Conduct monthly replacements of gastric tubes and Foley catheters as assigned.
• Perform trach care and suctioning as needed.
• Document treatment recommendations weekly in nurse notes and related records.
• Suggest treatment procedures or products to attending physicians.
• Re-order treatment supplies from pharmacy or central supply as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all treatments, dressing changes, ointments, sprays, lotions, etc. on all residents following center policy and procedures as it pertains to resident privacy, infection control, and physician’s orders.
• Perform routine monthly replacements of gastric tubes and Foley catheters as assigned.
• Perform trach care and suctioning.
• Recommend treatment at least 1 time weekly in the nurse notes, skin grids, pressure sore reports, or other required documents.
• Recommend treatment procedures or products to attending physicians.
• Re-order treatment supplies from pharmacy or central supply as needed.
