Job summary

Northfield Village Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking experienced Healthcare Professionals to provide primary skin care under supervision, with emphasis on wound treatment and therapy for residents. Responsibilities include direct patient care, assisting staff nurses, and consultative wound care to clinical staff.

Qualifications require graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN or RN, current LPN/RN license, and BCLS certification; 3 years of nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN or RN.
• Current state LPN or RN license. BCLS certification.
• Three (3) years nursing experience with experience as an acute care nurse.
• MDS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of attending physicians, DON, or Medical Director, with emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin orders.
• Implements policies and procedures, along with standards of care and practice related to patient care needs involving various types of wounds. Provides direct patient care and assistance to staff nurses, and acts as consultative service regarding wound care to clinical staff.
