Physicians provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities with a focus on modern wound management. Average earnings are around $300,000 for a 30-hour work week, plus full health benefits and malpractice coverage. Training is included, alongside a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Qualifications

• Must have an active unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, treating 20–30 patients per day.
