Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• Must hold a current, valid LPN or RN license from the NC Board of Nursing.
• Must be dependable and flexible and able to work with nursing staff and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Complete head to toe assessments on all new admissions and readmissions.
• Provide skin treatments and wound management as ordered.
• Administer medications within the scope of RN/LPN licensure.
• Maintain current documentation on pressure and non-pressure wounds.
• Participate in wound meetings and in-services as directed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and maintain resident comfort and dignity.
