Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA is seeking an Advanced Wound Care Tech for day shift. You will administer hyperbaric oxygen treatments under a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist and wound care under a Certified Wound Specialist or Provider.

The role requires GED, 40-hour training in Hyperbaric Medicine, and completion of the Wound Treatment Associate Program, with 1 year wound care experience. BLS certification is required; other licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• GED required; 40-hour Hyperbaric Medicine training completed; Wound Treatment Associate Program completed.
• 1 year wound care or similar procedure assisting experience required.
• 2 years direct patient care with wound dressing and minor surgical assistance preferred.
• 3 years patient care experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• CNA/EMT/AT/CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen treatments under the supervision of a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist.
• Administer safe and effective wound care treatments under the supervision of a Certified Wound Specialist or Provider.
