Job summary

Vohra Physicians in Des Moines, IA seeks a General Surgeon with wound-management expertise to join our national wound care group. This full-time role (Mon-Fri, 7 am–4 pm) offers no nights, no calls, and no weekend work.

The position involves a mobile practice across a 40–60 mile radius, performing bedside care and weekly wound rounds with real-time EMR documentation. Paid training and a wound fellowship are included.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• License to practice without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (SNF/LTACH).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities.
• Treat 20–30 patients per day across multiple facilities.
• Document care in real-time using our EMR.
