Job summary

The Bariatric Surgeon position with National Wound Physician Group is a mobile, PT/FT opportunity offering no nights, no calls, and no weekend duties. Physicians provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings and participate in weekly wound rounds, with a 40–60 mile radii travel.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
• Mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day
• Record clinical documentation at the point of care, in real time during rounds using our EMR
