Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a part-time clinic nurse to deliver patient care through the nursing process, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure accurate documentation. The role emphasizes safe medication administration, patient education, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Candidates should have an accredited RN program, Missouri licensure (or compact), and BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN license or a compact-state license.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
• Clinic competency assessment annually by transcript due date.
• Minimal: Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients per established standards.
• Assess clinical needs of patients and update records as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners and staff.
• Communicate effectively and maintain two-way communication with health team.
• Administer medications and treatments following nursing standards.
• Educate patients/families about procedures, medications and wellness.
• Maintain exam rooms and ensure supplies; prepare lists of needed items.
