Job summary

Advatix Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse with wound, ostomy and continence expertise to provide safe, evidence‑based care under the Wound and Ostomy Manager. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, care planning, and patient education for a designated patient group.

You will collaborate with the health care team, document outcomes, and participate in quality improvement activities. NYS RN license and a CWON/CWCN/CWS or WCC certification are required.

Qualifications

• Wound care knowledge and patient assessment skills.
• Experience with wound, ostomy and continence care is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound, ostomy and continence assessments and care planning.
• Develop and revise standards of care; participate in quality initiatives.
• Monitor patient response to wound care and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and refer to other disciplines as needed.
• Educate patients and families on prevention and self-care.
