Job summary

Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide primary skin care to residents under physician supervision in Tennessee. The role emphasizes treatment and therapy of skin disorders, with collaboration across care planning and nursing teams.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with experience in wound care and dermatologic treatment.
• Collaborates with care planning team and physicians to plan and implement skin care.
• Adheres to state medical practice requirements and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Confer with the Director of Nursing and licensed staff regarding residents' dermatologic disorders.
• Plan and develop skin care treatments with the Care Planning Team for residents.
• Initiate referrals or consultations and respond to requests from residents, physicians or nursing staff.
• Examine residents and records to recognize when to refer for physician evaluation or supervision.
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as part of administrative duties.
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to skin care and communicate them to physicians, families, and staff.
