Job summary

TLC Life and Health in California seeks a Wound Care RN to provide skilled nursing care for patients with acute to complex wounds within our clinical teams.

You will perform wound assessments, treatments, educate patients, document care, coordinate with physicians and care partners, and ensure infection prevention. Certification is ideal but not required; the organization offers precepted hours to support certification.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BLS certification.
• Wound care knowledge and experience preferred; certification ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wound assessment, documentation of site measurements, drainage, tissue, odor, skin condition, and pain.
• Monitor healing progression and report abnormal findings promptly.
• Perform wound care treatments per orders: cleansing, dressings, debridement assistance; assist with advanced procedures within RN scope.
