Job summary

Mercy Hyperbaric and Wound Care – Southfork in St. Louis, MO is seeking a registered nurse to join the wound care team. The role provides patient-centered care using the nursing process and requires at least 1 year of wound care experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Applicants must have an accredited nursing degree and an active RN license in the hiring state.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Hold a current RN license in the hiring state or applicable compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality while delivering care.
• Assist in wound care management and participate in Mercy standards.
