Job summary

Mat-Su Regional is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes and compassionate care for patients and families.

The role requires 1–2 years in clinical nursing or student rotations in acute care, and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN license (State Licensure and/or Compact) required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings; report changes to care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the care team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
