Job summary

EGA Associates, LLC is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver evidence-based wound care and oversee licensed staff. The RN will conduct skin and wound assessments, develop care plans, and implement advanced therapies in support of patient needs.

Qualified candidates hold a current RN license in good standing and have at least 18 months of wound care experience, with strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• 18 months recent experience in wound care, including advanced therapies and technologies.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within assigned shifts.
• PREFERRED Credential- Wound Care certification by VA approved accredited agency: NCCA or ABSNC.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on skin and wound assessment findings.
• Clinical Care & Documentation: Perform and delegate tasks according to the plan of care; document data in EMR.
• Wound Care Expertise: Full scope of wound assessment and management, including measurement, staging, cleansing, and therapies.
• Patient Advocacy & Support: Meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families; report incidents.
• Leadership & Delegation: Delegate elements of care based on assessed needs and safety; update care plans.
