Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Detroit, MI 48201 – Discover the vibrant culture, rich history, and revitalized downtown of Detroit, a hub for Michigan healthcare professionals.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (90 days)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 7, 2025
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: As needed within wound care nursing skillset
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2170
  
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Michigan or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent wound care nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed within wound care or clinical support roles
  
  

Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive wound care assessment, planning, and interventions for patients in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor wound healing progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
• Educate patients and families on wound care management, prevention, and best practices
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards
