Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Washington, D.C. is seeking physicians of all specialties to join as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

This no-call, weekday-focused role offers a high‑impact clinical environment with training provided. Full-time or part-time positions are available with a competitive salary for full-time of $250,000–$500,000 per year, plus per‑patient and per‑procedure pay and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Board certification not required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to follow patients through healing.
