Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in the Charlotte Metro is seeking physicians to lead wound care initiatives within skilled nursing facilities across Mecklenburg, Gaston, and Union counties. This Independent Contractor role offers clinical autonomy and a no-call lifestyle.

You’ll perform surgical debridement, use advanced dressings, and collaborate with post-acute teams, with per-patient and per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses and 36 CME hours provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted NC medical license or eligibility.
• DEA license or eligibility.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Open to Surgeons, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform Surgical Debridement and bedside procedures.
• Apply Advanced Dressings and wound protocols.
• Provide Collaborative Care within the post-acute setting.
• Contribute to meaningful clinical outcomes in local NC communities.
