Job summary

Korzen Health is seeking a full-time Wound Care Physician (MD/DO) to lead a high-performing outpatient Wound Care Center in Columbus, GA, in collaboration with Healogics and Midtown Medical Center.

This hands-on, procedure-driven role focuses on doing procedures, not paperwork or hospital call. You’ll work in a structured, appointment-based clinic with a consistent schedule and a strong support team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active state license & DEA.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Strong procedural background (suturing, I&Ds, biopsies, debridement).
• Experience in outpatient wound care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume wound care procedures daily.
• Treat chronic and complex wounds, mainly in geriatric patients.
• Utilize advanced healing techniques including debridement, infection management, compression therapy, HBO.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on outcomes.

This is a hands-on, procedure-driven role built for physicians who want to focus on doing procedures, not paperwork or hospital call. You’ll work in a structured, appointment-based clinic with a consistent schedule and a strong support team.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-volume wound care procedures daily
• Treat chronic and complex wounds, primarily in a geriatric population
• Utilize advanced healing techniques including:
  • Debridement
  • Infection management
  • Compression therapy
  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO)
• Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team focused on outcomes
