Job summary

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute facilities across a broad network. This is a mobile practice with visits to facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, and there are no nights, no calls, and no weekend clinical duties.

Full-time Monday to Friday (7 am – 4 pm) or part-time options are available; you will see about 20-30 patients daily, with paid training and a 30-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
• Visit facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
• Treat approximately 20-30 patients per day
• Document clinically in real-time during rounds using our EMR
