Skilled Wound Care in Ventura, CA seeks a Wound Care Physician to join our team. This no-call, Monday–Friday role offers full-time or part-time options with competitive compensation and minimal administrative burden.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care procedures including debridement and bedside care.
• Evaluate and treat chronic non-healing wounds in SNF settings.
• Use advanced dressings and protocols to promote healing.
• Collaborate with facilities to follow patients through recovery.

Average Annual Earnings: $250,000 - $500,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)

Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Wound Care Physician Schedule

We offer consistent weekday schedules with no nights or weekends, in part-time or full-time options:

• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
• Full-Time: 4-5 days per week

Wound Care Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training
