Job summary

Piedmont Augusta is seeking a hospital-based wound care physician to blend outpatient wound clinics with supervision of hyperbaric treatment in the wound and HBO center in Augusta, GA.

The ideal candidate is board-certified in General, Plastic, or Vascular Surgery with an ACGME fellowship and has experience managing diabetes and high risk for amputation; wound certification is desirable within one year of joining.

Qualifications

• Board certification in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery or Vascular Surgery.
• Postgraduate fellowship training through an ACGME-accredited programme.
• Experience managing diabetes and patients at high risk of amputation.
• Wound certification is desired and can be obtained within one year of joining.
