Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Wound Care RN/LPN to join our nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about wound management, skin integrity, and providing high-quality, resident-centered care.
Assess, treat, and monitor various types of wounds, including pressure injuries, surgical wounds, burns, ostomies, and trauma-related wounds
Perform routine skin assessments and identify changes in skin integrity
Provide wound treatments according to physician orders, care plans, and facility protocols
Monitor healing progress and identify signs of infection or complications
Develop and implement interventions to prevent pressure injuries and skin breakdown
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Educate residents, families, and nursing staff on wound prevention and treatment
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, dietary, rehabilitation, and other interdisciplinary team members
Monitor nutritional and hydration needs that support wound healing
Assist with pain management related to wound care
Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards, regulatory requirements, and facility policies
Active, unencumbered Florida RN or LPN license
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Wound care, skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong knowledge of wound care, skin integrity, infection prevention, and clinical documentation
Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and able to prioritize effectively
