Job summary

Korzen Health is seeking a full-time Traveling Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This position provides coverage to Healogics Wound Care Centers across Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas.

Based in outpatient wound care clinics, the NP will perform wound care procedures, with daytime hours (about 40 hours per week), and travel overnight as needed. Travel expenses are reimbursed and clinicians hold active medical and DEA licenses.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Must possess a clear and active Medical License and a DEA License.
• Experience with wound care procedures (debridements, suturing, I&D) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage to Healogics Wound Care Centers in CO, NE, IA, KS as a traveling NP.
• Engage in procedural wound care with standard daytime hours and no night shifts.
• Travel overnight as needed; travel expenses are reimbursed.

Korzen Health is seeking a full-time Traveling Nurse Practitionerto join our team. This position will provide coverage to all Healogics Wound Care Centers in the following states: Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas.

For over 25 years, Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospital-based wound care centers across the country. Currently, Healogics treats over 300,000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the worlds leading expert in wound healing.

This position is based in our outpatient wound care clinics and is exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care. Our standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours. All patients are seen by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. Our clinics are integrated within existing hospital facilities, and the physician will be employed by Healogics.

Recent experience in Wound Care/Procedures such as debridements, suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), or surgical procedures is required. Procedural case logs will be required as part of the credentialing process. Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training are provided.

Scope of Practice Highlights

• Full Team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support
• We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including: Cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing.
• Standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours.

Experience Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience
• Must currently possess a clear and active Medical License and a DEA License
• Must have previous procedureexperience ie. Sutures, I&d's, Debridements.
