Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to assess residents, develop individualized care plans and oversee nursing staff. You will administer nursing care, monitor outcomes and ensure adherence to care standards within a supportive team.

The role requires an active RN or LPN license, CPR certification, and English proficiency. Wound care certification is a plus and hours are scheduled as needed, with a full-time position available.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license.
• Must possess a current CPR certification.
• Completed infection prevention and control training (or will complete within first week).
• Must be able to communicate in English and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer nursing care and evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in nursing care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards and policies.
• Follow health, sanitation and infection control guidelines.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your jobis toassess resident’s needs, develop an individualized care plan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our community, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or designee to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education & Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN within the state in which you work.

• Must possess a current CPR certification.

• Have completed (or complete within first week of hire) specialized training in infection prevention and control (ex. CDC’s infection and control modules or other qualified infection control education). Any additional state-specific training required for the position will be completed at the earliest available opportunity.

• Must be able to communicate in English and havethe abilityto follow verbal and written instructions.

• Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.

• Wound care certification preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum two (2) years of RN/LPN experience in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.

• Experience teaching or training adult learners and have prior experience/training in Infection Prevention and Control processes preferred.

• Management experience preferred.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Flexible

• Wage: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
