• Must hold a current LPN license from the Georgia State Nursing Board.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Capable of maintaining effective working relationships with patients, family members, department heads, and fellow associates.

Responsibilities

• Monitors skin problems and treats as ordered by physician.
• Administers and records all treatment medications.
• Charts information regarding patient progress, ailments, medications, symptoms and observations.
• Performs monthly skin assessments on patients.
• Stocks and prepares treatment cart.
• Complies with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care in the execution of assigned duties.
• Administers and records medications following physician orders; takes and records patient vital signs and collects laboratory specimens as directed.
• Provides emotional support to patients and their families.
