Job summary

Paylocity seeks an experienced LPN to assist in coordinating wound treatment and following the physician-approved plan of care. You will perform scheduled wound therapies and support patient education.

You will educate patients, families and staff on wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, dressing choices and other therapies, contributing to performance improvement efforts within the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved school of practical nursing and has passed the state board examination.
• Current state Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in long term care nursing.
• Current BCLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating treatment to provide comprehensive wound assessments.
• Follow plan of care.
• Provide scheduled wound treatments as ordered by physician.
• Assist with patient, family and staff education regarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces, dressing selections and other therapies.
• Assist with performance improvement plan of the organization.
