Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians in Lexington, KY is seeking a part-time hospitalist to join a national wound physician group. The role focuses on bedside wound care in post-acute settings with no nights, no call, and no weekend duties.

You will work 3 weekdays minimum (7am–4pm), visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius and delivering wound management rounds with real-time EMR documentation. This position offers autonomy, paid onboarding, and fellowship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted MD/DO license in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full-time/Part-time work: Monday–Friday (7am–4pm) or part-time available.
• No nights, no call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4–5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: physicians visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of practice location.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day; treat approximately 20–30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation at point of care, in real-time during rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid training provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available).
