NIVA Health is seeking a Wound Care Director of Nursing (RN) to lead and mentor a clinical wound care team in an in-person setting. You will drive quality, develop policies, and partner with executives to advance patient outcomes.

Active RN licensure is required, with wound care certification preferred or to be obtained within 45 days of hire. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration, and clinical excellence in Michigan locations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Wound care certification preferred or required within 45 days of hire.
• Wound care experience in clinical settings.
• Minimum 4 years in wound care and 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead with purpose: oversee Providers, LPN/LVNs, and Medical Assistants, setting objectives and maintaining high standards.
• Mentor and develop: provide training, assessments, and mentorship for team growth.
• Optimize quality: refine policies, procedures, and workflows; ensure licensure and regulatory compliance.
• Drive excellence: analyze and improve quality and outcomes metrics.
• Collaborate for success: work with executives and colleagues to create education content and champion best practices.
• Innovate and implement: support new clinical programs to keep the organization at the forefront of wound care.
