Job Overview

Patriot Medical Wound Health seeks a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant to join our wound care team. This position offers hands‑on clinical experience while working directly with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts and wound care notes before each visit.
• Round in person with wound care providers.
• Scribe medical notes and assist with accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist providers during wound care visits and procedures under supervision.
• Help organize wound measurements, photos, supplies and treatment information.
• Communicate with providers, nurses, facility staff and administrative team members.
• Assist with follow‑up tasks, orders and patient care coordination.
• Support a smooth workflow during wound rounds.
• Maintain professionalism, patient privacy and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Interest in healthcare, wound care, geriatrics or direct patient care.
