Job summary

Oceanside Center is seeking a Team Lead-Skin Health (RN) to lead a comprehensive Skin Health and wound management program within our nursing center in Hampton, NH. The role requires RN licensure and demonstrated expertise in wound care, with leadership responsibilities and vendor coordination.

The position emphasizes collaboration with interprofessional teams, staff education, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a RN license.
• Must complete Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire.
• Must have national accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or commit to complete within 1 year of hire.
• Knowledge and experience with clinical charting, incident reporting and investigation response is required.
• Strong knowledge base of standards of care for nurses, providers, therapists, dietitians, and others on the nursing center team.
• Experience in team building and interprofessional wound management.
• Knowledge of national wound guidelines and wound products.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management.

• Support central supply serving as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products.

• Must complete Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire *Commitment to attend monthly support calls is required.
• Must have national accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC)or be committed to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire (For those hired with wound certification, completion of a fast-track hybrid program for regulatory wound care requirements will be provided)
• Knowledge and experience with clinical charting, incident reporting and investigation response is required.
• Must have a strong knowledge base of acceptable standards of care for nurses, providers, therapists, dietitians, and others on the nursing center team.
• Experience in team building and demonstrating respect for the interprofessional team in wound management is required.
• Must have knowledge of national wound guidelines and wound products.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process is required.
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management, PowerPoint skills are required.
