Job summary

The Woskob Family Gallery at Penn State's College of Arts and Architecture is hiring Gallery Assistants for the academic year. The role involves hands‑on gallery operations including exhibition installation and de‑installation, staffing during open hours to greet visitors and provide information, supporting events and public programs, and managing social media accounts with content creation and community engagement.

Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility for variable scheduling including evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience with exhibition installation is a significant advantage.
