Job summary

Woodland Park Baptist Church in Hammond, LA is seeking a spiritually mature Worship Pastor to lead the church’s worship ministries with biblical integrity and musical excellence. Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct WPBC worship services in consultation with the Senior Pastor.
• Select theologically sound music for congregational singing.
• Coordinate all aspects of worship ministry including music, media, sound, and lighting.
• Oversee worship ministry budget, resources, and volunteers.
• Mentor and develop children and youth talent for future worship leadership.
• Pastor, encourage, and support worship team members’ spiritual growth.
• Lead seasonal programs and special worship events.
• Direct weekly rehearsals to ensure meaningful worship experiences.
• Set short- and long-term worship ministry goals with the Senior Pastor.
