The Orchardville Church is seeking a Worship Director to lead the music and technical ministry, coordinating worship services and related productions. You will manage rehearsal schedules, chord sheets, and music library, and ensure Pro Presenter and Planning Center are effectively used to support weekly services.

The Orchardville Church Worship Director will demonstrate a strong commitment to Jesus Christ while implementing a music & technical ministry that enhances the worship of God and the whole ministry of Orchardville Church.
The director is answerable and accountable to the Senior Pastor on a day-to-day basis as a member of the worship ministry/technical team. As a member of the staff, the Orchardville Church Worship Director will also interface regularly and cooperatively with other staff members, Department Heads, Deacons, Finance Team, and the congregation.

The Worship Director must exhibit strong leadership qualities. They must possess a high level of buy-in with the church's mission, vision, and strategy and must be highly organized. They must be able to effectively communicate their vision for worship, lead and guide their team in worship and prayer, and coordinate well with other church staff. They must also have the ability to inspire and engage the congregation in worship. The character traits most sought after in the successful candidate are spirituality, passion (for God, for worship, for the church), teachability (humbleness), initiative, and versatility.
Prior experience in leading worship in a church setting is required. Any experience a candidate may have in the music industry, worship team coordination, organizing rehearsals, and leading worship services help demonstrate the candidate's ability to fulfill the position effectively.
The Worship Director should have a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills. They must demonstrate strong attention to detail and possess a 'can-do' attitude. They must be a team player, leading people, such as musicians, vocalists, volunteers, technical teams, and the congregation. This will help to foster a collaborative and supportive worship environment.
A willingness to learn and grow is important for a Worship Director. They should be open to feedback, actively seek opportunities for personal and professional development, and stay updated with current trends and practices in worship leading.
