Worship Leader Magazine in Mobile, AL seeks a Full-Time Ministerial, salaried leader to oversee Worship & Creative Arts across church services and events. You will recruit and train worship teams, manage budgets, and ensure a vibrant sanctuary environment with a strong volunteer culture.
Meet weekly with campus pastors, supervise music, tech, photography, and communications teams, and develop a robust worship program across campuses. Must model Christian virtues and lead with excellence.

POSITION PURPOSE: Oversee Worship & Creative Arts for all worship services and special events.
NATURE OF WORKING IN A CHURCH ENVIRONMENT: The person assuming this responsibility must be spiritually and emotionally mature, friendly, and have a good attitude while in the workplace. It is also imperative to have good people skills, problem solving skills, communication skills and general computer skills. The employee must be able to function on a team and work closely with a large group of volunteers, as well as other staff members. In addition, must be able to distinguish between the nature of a church environment, which depends heavily on its volunteers, versus a secular environment, which works mostly with paid employees. This distinction is critical to the function and success of the position. As a part of the Christian community, it is imperative that employees of the church understand they are viewed as an example of Christian virtues and must not violate these virtues through their behavior, attitudes, actions or speech.

Grievances with another employee, supervisor, or volunteer worker, shall be handled in the following manner: A written grievance shall be given to the Lead Pastor in person. The grievance will not be discussed with any other staff member or church member. The Lead Pastor will set up a meeting with all parties involved to attempt to resolve the grievance. The decision of the Lead Pastor will be final. Any non-compliance to the Lead Pastor’s decision will be grounds for Employment termination.
