Job summary

Paradise Alliance Church in Paradise, CA is seeking a Worship & Connections Pastor to lead worship ministries, recruit and develop volunteer teams, and shepherd a Christ-centered church culture. The role partners with the pastoral team to foster authentic worship experiences and guest connections, while guiding production and hospitality efforts.

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and spiritual maturity.
• Gifting of the Holy Spirit for ministry leadership.
• Biblical leadership standards per 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
• Bachelor of Arts or equivalent training/education.
• Willing to pursue CMA licensing/ordination.
• Leads with humility, relational/honest, and team-building passion.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a healthy, creative, Spirit-led pastoral staff.
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor, elders, and staff to support PAC’s vision.
• Lead Christ-centered worship aligned with PAC’s teaching and mission.
• Recruit, equip, and delegate worship, production, hospitality, and guest teams.
• Foster gospel-centered growth and reach in the church community.
• Provide oversight for worship and production ministries (music, audio, visuals, livestream, service coordination).
• Plan holiday services and special events with pastoral staff.
• Shape a welcoming Sunday culture from parking lot to auditorium with trained volunteers.

The Worship & Connections Pastor helps foster a Christ-centered Sunday morning environment where people are welcomed, connected, discipled, and led into worship of Jesus Christ. This role provides leadership for worship ministries, volunteer teams, and guest connections while helping cultivate a healthy, authentic, and gospel-centered church culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and ongoing spiritual maturity.
• Can clearly identify the gifting of the Holy Spirit toward ministry leadership.
• Lives consistently with the biblical qualifications for church leadership outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
• Bachelor of Arts and/or other equivalent training and education.
• Willing and able to work towards licensing and ordination with the C&MA denomination.
• We are seeking a leader who is humble, teachable, relational, emotionally healthy, and passionate about building teams that serve with authenticity and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of and contribute to a healthy, creative, and Spirit-led Pastoral staff.
• Works collaboratively with the Lead Pastor, elders, and staff while supporting the vision and direction of Paradise Alliance Church.
• Able to:
  • Lead our church in Christ-centered worship that aligns with the teaching and mission of PAC.
  • Recruit, equip, and delegate volunteer teams in worship, production, hospitality, and guest connections through an encouraging and servant-hearted style of leadership.
  • Understand the culture of the community and develop effective ways to reach people with the Gospel of Christ, and encourage spiritual growth.
  • Provide oversight and development for worship and production ministries including music, audio, visual, livestream, and service coordination teams.
• Plan with the Pastoral staff for Holiday services and special events.
• Help shape a welcoming and Christ-centered Sunday morning culture where every environment, from the parking lot to the auditorium, helps people feel encouraged, connected, and pointed toward Jesus through trained and servant-hearted volunteer teams. This includes hospitality, greeters, lobby environment, worship service coordination, and helping attenders connect into the life and ministries of the church.
• You are flexible and collaborative with the needs of the church and community by performing other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a leader who values worship, discipleship, teamwork, authenticity, and shepherding people toward deeper faith in Christ.

This position may require licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.
