Job description

Worship Arts Minister

Calvary Baptist Church in Republic, MO, is seeking our next Worship Arts Minister. This is a Full-Time position.

The Opportunity

Calvary Baptist is located in Republic, MO, just outside of Springfield. The church is experiencing a fresh move of God and exists in a growing and vibrant community. Our worship arts team consists of more than forty talented and Godly servants, always willing to lead wherever needed for the glory of God. This position is unique: lead in a growing church in a growing community with all the resources necessary to continue building a dynamic worship arts ministry.

The Location

Republic is one of the fastest growing cities in Missouri. It is anticipated that our city will double in size by 2040, and there are signs everywhere of the growth in our town. We have wonderful schools and developing neighborhoods.

Located in Southwest Missouri, we are close to the luxuries of the city while offering opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Only minutes from downtown Springfield, you’ll find great dining, a minor league baseball team, Wonders of Wildlife, and a variety of shopping. Surrounded by lakes and rivers, the area offers plentiful outdoor opportunities.

The Church

Although Calvary is 60 years old, we are comprised of multiple generations. The Lord has blessed our church with a vibrant kids ministry and dynamic student ministry. Life Groups are the backbone of the church, with more than 60% involvement throughout the church. Our staff team works hard and has fun. Simply, the Lord has blessed Calvary in amazing ways.

Our music style could be described as blended with a lean toward modern worship. We are led by a full band each Sunday.
