AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. About the Org: The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Your daily schedule will be a dynamic mix of solving customers' challenges and creating scalable assets to further promote the knowledge and understanding of Amazon Quick. You will collaborate with field teams to drive successful customer outcomes, as well as work with service teams to incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap. You will partner closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist counterparts to develop strategies that drive customer adoption further in your territory through one-to-one customer engagement and one-to-many virtual and in-person events.
Within the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), this position is part of the Generative AI and Machine Learning Specialist Solutions Architecture organization, where you will join a global team focused on Amazon Quick. The team covers all aspects of Quick, including its agentic capabilities, dashboarding, and automation, with a mission to help organizations become more proficient with data and AI. You'll work in a collaborative environment where continuous learning and knowledge-sharing are core to how the team operates, staying at the forefront of a rapidly evolving space where generative AI is transforming how knowledge workers interact with data.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
