Qualifications

• Master’s degree in teaching or relevant academic field.
• At least three years of World Language classroom teaching experience in a middle school or high school classroom and/or related professional experience.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in English as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Observe student teachers on-site with 3–5 on-site observations and brief post-conference meetings.
• Assess candidate performance and determine final grades in collaboration with ISU faculty and cooperating teachers.
• Coordinate occasional visits to Illinois State University and maintain online communication with schools throughout the semester.
