Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with diverse groups.

Summary

Stratford Public Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our World Language program. This role is essential in fostering a love for languages and cultures among students while promoting multilingualism and global citizenship. Stipend: $1500/year

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the implementation of a comprehensive curriculum for world language courses that aligns with state standards and best practices in language education.
  • Lead department meetings and mentor a team of world language teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Help facilitate language-related events, such as cultural celebrations, language fairs, and exchange programs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement in language learning.
