Job summary

TechnipFMC is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform mechanical and hydraulic assemblies of low complexity at Midland, TX. You will assemble and test according to specifications and contribute to cost tracking and safety documentation.

You should have a high school diploma, up to 2 years of field experience, and the ability to read drawings and technical documentation. Familiarity with FAT or gas testing is a plus as you work under guidance from experienced technicians.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in field.
  • Proficiency to read drawings and technical documentation in assembly.
  • Knowledge/use of complex equipment and techniques (e.g. FAT, Gas testing, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Assembles and tests assemblies according to specifications. Masters basic skills and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment in the area of expertise
  • Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and NCRs
  • Cleans components after assembly according to FMCTI specifications and verbal/written instructions
  • Uses material handling equipment to move parts, components and sub-assemblies from one work or storage area to another as required
  • Collects and inputs information in specific systems for cost tracking purposesPerforms all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area
  • Assists more experienced Assembly Technicians as assigned
