Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC seeks a Workshop Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment in the Deer Park, TX shop. You will manage the fleet, perform oil and filter changes, wash equipment returned from rental, diagnose faults, and conduct preventative maintenance across the territory.

You will also help develop more efficient processes and document all work daily. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of industrial service experience, an electromechanical background, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as an industrial service field mechanic
• Electromechanical degree or training
• Maintenance, overhaul and repair of electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic equipment
• Lift up to 50 pounds in industrial environments with temperature extremes
• Good command of English; second language is a bonus
• High energy levels

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fleet in the shop
• Change oil/oil filters/air filters on equipment returned from rental
• Wash equipment returning from rent
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning equipment
• Repair down equipment in the shop
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment across the territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measurable success toward business targets
• Document all work daily using company hardware and software

Your role

As a Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the shop. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental North America's growth strategy as a leader in the Oil Free air rental business in North America. By joining our team, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence and help us deliver outstanding results to our customers. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor.

You will

• Maintain the fleet in the shop
• You will change oil/oil filters/air filters on equipment coming back in from rent
• You will wash equipment returning from rent
• You will troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment
• You will repair down equipment in the shop
• You will perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
• You will develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• You will improve measurable success to business targets
• You will document all work performend daily using compnay provided hardware and software

• You have 2 - 3 years expereience as an industrial related service field mechanic
• You shoul have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You shoud have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You will be expected to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling
• You should have good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• you should have high energy levels
