Job description

Workplace Solutions Partner Lead — Private Bank (Corporate Focus)

New York, NY, United States

Job Description

Drive origination of qualified corporate Workplace Solutions opportunities from within the Private Bank by leveraging relationships with business‑owning clients, corporate executives, family offices with operating companies, and board networks. Embed with PB coverage to surface employer needs and facilitate warm introductions to corporate buyers (CHRO, Total Rewards, CFO, Benefits Committee). This role focuses solely on corporate/employer opportunities and does not solicit or manage individual investor business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Division partnership and coverage

    • Build a coverage plan with PB regional and market leaders focused on client ecosystems that include operating companies, boards, and PE/VC‑backed entities.

    • Engage Private Client Advisors, Wealth Partners, Family Office, and Business Owners & Executives coverage to map client corporate affiliations and identify employer decision makers.

    • Deliver enablement tailored to PB banker dialogues: employer value props, pre‑meeting briefs, and outreach scripts for introducing corporate retirement, equity plans, and enterprise financial wellness.

  • Identify corporate triggers: liquidity events, M&A, founder succession, new PE ownership, rapid hiring, plan renewals, and equity program transitions.

  • Orchestrate warm introductions to CHRO, Head of Total Rewards, CFO, Corporate Secretary, and Benefits Committee; ensure disciplined qualification and handoff to Workplace Solutions sales.

  • Partner with Family Office teams when portfolios include operating companies and with Trust/Lending when corporate transitions affect employee programs.

  • Pipeline and governance

    • Maintain transparent attribution, stage discipline, and feedback loops with Workplace Solutions sales and PB leadership.

    • Track referral quality, conversion rates, buyer seniority, and time‑to‑first corporate meeting; iterate plays based on outcomes.

  • Internal influence and trust building

    • Become the PB “go‑to” for employer solutions, bringing timely, relevant corporate ideas that enhance banker relationships with their clients’ companies.

    • Gather banker feedback to refine employer messaging, case studies, and timing of outreach around corporate events.

  • Risk, conduct, and controls

    • Adhere to client consent requirements and information‑sharing protocols; protect personal information and respect any information barriers.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • 8+ years in B2B partner‑led business development within wealth adjacencies or corporate benefits; experience working with business owners/executives preferred.

  • Strong grasp of employer benefits buying centers (HR/Total Rewards/Finance) and mid‑market to large‑cap needs.

  • Proven success influencing without authority in a matrixed environment and building referral engines.

  • Executive presence and ability to translate complex offerings into clear employer value.

Location and travel

  • Based in key PB markets; travel 25–40% to priority offices and corporate meetings.
