Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Medical Massage Therapist to treat clients using therapeutic touch to relieve pain and aid wellness. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support on-site wellness initiatives at work sites.

Essential duties include assessing symptoms, developing care plans, and documenting progress in the EHR. Must have a state license, board-approved education, and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a board-approved Massage Therapy School.
• Current state Massage Therapy License and National Certification Standards.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Current BLS certification and EMR documentation knowledge.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform treatments.

Responsibilities

• Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired results.
• Evaluate areas of pain and develop a care plan.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to provide appropriate care.
• Guide clients on stretches, relaxation, and posture improvement.
• Document progress in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Perform various massage modalities including Swedish, deep-tissue, and sports.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment.
