Job summary

Charter Communications seeks a Workplace & Facilities Administrator to support Spectrum's facilities and workplace services across Spectrum networks. You’ll help ensure reliable operations, manage space planning, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet business needs.

The role requires 2+ years in facilities or property management, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency with CAFM/IWMS, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience within facilities or property management.
  • Ability to manage spaces and translate business requirements into space plans.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive customer relations by delivering responsive facility services.
  • Oversee contracted services and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Manage occupancy experience requests via helpdesk or ticket system with accurate data entry.
  • Support vendor selection by handling bids and bid analyses.
  • Act as liaison between service providers and facilities teams.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports including budget variances and accruals.
  • Coordinate space allocations and small office moves as part of lifecycle projects.

Job description

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Assist in maintaining positive customer relations by providing responsive and quality facility services.
  • Oversee workplace and facilities contracted services, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage customer occupancy experience requests through a helpdesk or work ticket system, ensuring accurate data entry and coordination.
  • Support the vendor selection process by managing competitive bids and conducting bid summary analyses.
  • Act as a liaison between service providers and facilities management teams, facilitating effective communication.
  • Prepare and manage performance dashboards and reports, including financial accruals and budget variance analyses.
  • Support building life cycle projects and facilities planning, coordinating space allocations and small office moves.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or combination of education and experience
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience within facilities or property management
Skills
  • Demonstrate effective spatial skills with experience implementing workplace strategies and translating business requirements into space requirements for business units
  • Possess intermediate knowledge of CAFM/IWMS systems, Excel, and PowerPoint for consolidating data and floor plans into presentations
  • Exhibit proven ability to solve problems and the desire to create and build processes
  • Provide demonstrated customer service skills and ability to interface with various levels of management and staff
  • Thrive in ambiguous situations among numerous cross-functional entities
  • Demonstrate proven complex and creative problem-solving skills
