Job summary

HLGstudio in Atlanta seeks an Interior Designer to join a collaborative, creative team shaping workplace and education spaces. You will participate across visioning, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation, ensuring design excellence from concept to construction.

Ideal candidates have a B.Arch or B.Des from a CIDA-accredited program, 3–7 years of design experience, and strong communication skills; proficiency in REVIT is preferred, with rendering skills a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA accredited program.
  • 3-7 years of design-focused experience in architectural or interior design firms.
  • Experience in corporate workplace and/or higher education projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of architectural/interior design planning, detailing, and construction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in REVIT; rendering skills are a plus.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Desire for learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Support and direct all project phases from visioning through construction administration.
  • Contribute to schematic design, design development, construction documents, and CD administration.
  • Collaborate under Studio Principal and Project Manager to maintain design excellence.

member provides support and direction in all project phases including visioning/programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration with a focus on design excellence.

Skill sets that will make you a successful team member at HLGstudio include:

Minimum of Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design (from CIDA accredited institution)

3-7 years design-oriented experience in architectural or interior design firm

Corporate Workplace and/or Higher Ed experience preferred

Knowledge of architecture and/or interior design planning, technical detailing, and construction

Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills

Proficient in REVIT – rendering skills a plus

Ability to organize and prioritize work

Personal desire for learning and professional development
