About The Company

At Cleo, we're not just building another fintech app. We're embarking on a mission to fundamentally change humanity's relationship with money. Imagine a world where everyone, regardless of background or income, has access to a hyper‑intelligent financial advisor in their pocket. That's the future we're creating. About The Role

We’re opening our brand new San Francisco office, and are looking for a Workplace Experience Manager to play a central role in making it an incredible place to work. You’ll own the day‑to‑day running of the office and help shape the in‑office experience from day one. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role. You’ll be the person who makes the office run smoothly, keeps things organised, and creates an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming in. From operational fundamentals to culture‑building moments, you’ll be a key partner to our People and Operations teams as we continue to scale in the US. You’ll be the go‑to person for anything office‑related in SF, and a visible, trusted presence for the team on the ground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the day‑to‑day operations of our San Francisco office, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently
  • Be the first point of contact for the office: welcoming visitors, coordinating deliveries, managing suppliers, and handling facilities issues
  • Set up and manage office systems and processes from scratch, leaving things better than you found them
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendors, making sure the office is well‑stocked and well‑maintained
  • Partner with the People team to help bring Cleo’s culture to life locally, while staying aligned with our global ways of working
  • Organise and run in‑office events, socials, and moments that matter, from team lunches to celebrations and offsites
  • Support company‑wide moments like onboarding days, team visits, and leadership sessions hosted in the SF office
  • Track office budgets and expenses, ensuring costs are managed thoughtfully and transparently
  • Jump in to support ad‑hoc People or Operations projects as needed – this is a role where things will evolve, and you’ll have real scope to shape it
What we’re Looking For
  • 4–6+ years of experience in an Office Manager, Workplace, or Office Operations role, ideally in a fast‑growing tech company
  • You’re highly organised, calm under pressure, and great at juggling lots of moving parts without dropping the ball
  • You enjoy working autonomously and taking ownership, especially in environments where not everything is fully defined yet
  • You have strong operational instincts, but also bring warmth, energy, and personality – you’re a natural culture carrier
  • You’re confident working with people across all levels of the business and happy being the first point of contact for the office
  • You spot problems before they become problems, and you’re proactive about improving how things work
  • You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in, even when something sits slightly outside your “job description”
  • You’re trustworthy, reliable, and consistent – people know they can depend on you
  • You’re excited to be a full‑time, in‑office presence in our San Francisco office
What do you get for all your hard work?
  • A competitive compensation package (base + equity) with bi‑annual reviews, aligned to our quarterly OKR planning cycles. This role’s base salary sits between $75k – $95k.
  • Work at one of the fastest‑growing tech startups, backed by top VC firms, Balderton & EQT Ventures
  • A clear progression plan. We want you to keep growing. That means trying new things, leading others, challenging the status quo and owning your impact. Always with our complete support.
  • Flexibility. We can’t fight for the world’s financial health if we’re not healthy ourselves. We work with everyone to make sure they have the balance they need to do their best work
  • Work where you work best. We’re a globally distributed team. Our US team works fully remotely, but we host virtual socials and an annual company offsite in Europe with all expenses paid.
Other Benefits
  • Company‑wide performance reviews every 6 months
  • Generous pay increases for high‑performing team members
  • Equity top‑ups for team members getting promoted
  • 15 days annual leave a year + 5 additional floating flexible days per year + public holidays (plus an additional day for every year you spend at Cleo)
  • 1 extra day a year to be used for learning and 1 extra day for volunteering
  • 401k matching
  • Medical Insurance, Dental and Vision care
  • Generous Parental Leave
  • 1 month paid sabbatical after 4 years at Cleo
  • Regular socials and activities, online and in‑person
  • We’ll pay for your OpenAI subscription
  • Online mental health support via Spill
  • And many more!
