Job summary

Toro Engineering & Construction seeks a Working Superintendent to lead project crews and manage on-site execution in Pompano Beach, FL. You’ll read blueprints, coordinate trades, schedule tasks, and ensure builds meet code and safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising carpentry, drywall, MEP trades, and finishes, with focus on quality and timely delivery. Healthcare and commercial experience are preferred, with a professional appearance on site.

Qualifications

Supervise/lead teams of small to large construction crews for all trades. Oversees project(s) to
ensure that all courses of construction are installed per code with professional quality and safety
at all times. Communicate & report all activities to Senior Project Superintendent & Project
Managers. Must know how to fully comprehend blueprints/plans, coordinate & schedule other
trades/subs and be familiar with building codes. Experience & knowledge in rough carpentry,
finish carpentry metal doors, drywall & MEP trades required. Ability to install, maintain, and repair
a variety of products ranging from demo, framing, drywall, painting, carpentry & finishes, as
needed. Clean & professional appearance at all times. Commercial experience needed &
healthcare experience recommended.
