Job summary

Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers in Odessa, Texas, is seeking a hands-on Working Shop Foreman to lead our Odessa Service Department. This is not a desk job; you will produce results, guide technicians, and oversee daily workflow while helping with diagnostics and complex repairs.

The ideal candidate will have RV and/or marine diagnostic experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Shop Foreman or Senior Technician.
• RV and/or Marine diagnostic/repair experience.
• Ability to lead a team while maintaining production.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Produce and flag labor hours alongside the technician team.
• Help manage daily shop workflow and technician productivity.
• Dispatch and prioritize repair orders to maximize efficiency.
• Assist technicians with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and complex repairs.
• Maintain quality control and reduce comebacks.
• Train, mentor, and develop technicians and shop personnel.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain shop organization.
• Communicate with management regarding productivity, staffing, and operational needs.
• Ensure repair orders, labor tracking, and documentation are accurate and complete.

Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for a hands-on Working Shop Foreman to help lead our Odessa Service Department.

This is not a sit-behind-the-desk management role. We’re looking for a producing foreman who can lead technicians, keep workflow moving, assist with diagnostics and complex repairs, and actively flag labor hours alongside the team.

• Previous experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Technician, or Senior Technician
• Strong RV and/or Marine diagnostic and repair experience
• Ability to lead a team while remaining production-focused
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Weekend availability as business needs require
