Shift(s)

6:00pm to 2:30am (Sunday to Thursday)

Job Duties

• Perform a full range of cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitation, dusting, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Lead, direct, and support a team of janitorial staff to ensure assigned tasks are completed thoroughly and on schedule.
• Assign cleaning zones or tasks and follow up to ensure standards are met.
• Serve as the first point of contact for janitorial staff questions, shift needs, and on-the-ground issues.
• Conduct routine inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness and ensure compliance with established cleaning standards.
• Address any deficiencies or missed tasks promptly, either by correcting personally or delegating effectively.
• Train new team members in cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Reinforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or supply shortages to supervisors in a timely manner
• Maintain a daily log of cleaning activities, incidents, and supply usage.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions by providing accurate hand-off information to incoming team leads or staff
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
• Frequent walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to [e.g., 40–50 lbs].
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and using various janitorial equipment.
