The Workforce Programs Coordinator is a core member of Earth Advantage’s Workforce Programs team, working alongside Workforce Training Leads and Project Managers to deliver green residential construction workforce development initiatives across Oregon and beyond. In this role, you’ll help drive the day‑to‑day coordination that keeps our programs running well — communicating with instructors and partners, tracking project deliverables, maintaining funder/program records, and supporting the design and delivery of training programs that reach a growing network of learners.
You’ll join a team whose work is deeply grounded in workforce equity. A major focus of our programs is expanding access to living‑wage green construction jobs for communities historically underrepresented in the trades — including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, women, low‑income, opportunity youth, and rural community members. Through this role, you’ll develop a strong understanding of green residential construction and the career pathways within it. You bring genuine interest in this work and thrive when partnering with community‑based organizations, nonprofits, professional associations, and construction pre‑apprenticeship programs to connect people to these career pathways.
You’re organized, see things through, and enjoy being the person a team can count on. You communicate clearly, are comfortable reaching out to a wide variety of training audiences and partners, work well independently on assigned tasks, and know when to raise questions or bring ideas forward. You’re motivated by seeing programs succeed and by contributing to work that has a real impact on improving people’s lives.
You’ll join a growing, collaborative team that is genuinely invested in helping one another succeed. As team members gain experience, we encourage professional development, relevant industry certifications, and other opportunities to build skills and grow over time. You’ll also be a part of a mission‑driven organization that values continuous learning and practical solutions to climate and housing challenges.
Our work is supported by a diverse portfolio of grants, contracts, and partnerships and reaches communities across Oregon and beyond. That means your day‑to‑day work directly supports real training, real career pathways, and real impact.
